Spring Break! Party Time!

Mira's teachers (and therefore Mira's class) were let out of school last week for spring break. Mama decided to head to Orlando, so what was Mira to do for the week? Call a grandmother, of course! Gram happily came to spend the week with Mira. The two ladies entertained themselves in the living room, at the Children's Museum, and at the zoo. Mira even took interest in an animal (the sea otters)! And then just as Mira adjusted to the number of people in her house, we changed things up on her...
Aunt Sysa stopped by en route to Austin, then Pop and GiGi arrived for Eric's Bar Mitzvah. What's a girl to do?

Ah well. Mira quickly adjusted to having yet more doting relatives. It's a hard life. With GiGi, Gram, and Mama in tow, Mira went shoe shopping. She sure catches on quickly! Mira arrived home with not one, but two brand new pairs of size 6 1/2 shoes; she's not yet two years old. What are they feeding her?

(Actually, that's a picture of banana bread. Who let her eat that?)

At least Daddy stayed around this week.

Mama is currently on probation and is working to earn back Mira's trust. (And, no, that is not why Mira was allowed to eat the banana bread; we would never use food to bribe a child. Kisses do just fine.)
