Mira loved decorating her pumpkin (and luckily for her parents, not the carpet) with some paints we had lying around the house. We had it proudly displayed for trick-or-treaters of all ages.

Mira made two appearances as a flamenco dancer this week: one at her school's Fall Festival (hence the ponytails - she loves when her teachers do her hair) and the second with her Daddy and the other lovely ladies that live on our street. The toddler parade successfully made their way around the neighborhood, with Mira, the eldest toddler in the lead (ie, the only toddler old enough to understand if you say "trick or treat," you get candy and then you get to immediately ask Daddy to open the candy; makes sense to me. Daddy reports that she said "thank you" every time).
