Mira Roberta: TWO years old

Our beautiful, stunning, charming, delightful Mira Roberta is a whopping TWO YEARS OLD today. Happy Birthday, Mira!

All dressed up with nowhere to go (but twelve adults to sit around the Kaye house and admire such a good looking kid). Mira is the daughter I never was - she loves to wear her jewelry, brush her hair and Mama's, and asks for us to put her hair in barrettes and poneytails.
Mira (still decked out in barrette and necklace) loves the "choo-choo" at the Houston Zoo; it seems to be very confusing to this two year old that a ticket only buys you one ride through Hermann Park.
Going to the playground remains a favorite pasttime for our beautiful Mira. She tries to use the slides backwards, as the "big girls" do at school, but usually gets her foot stuck.
Mira is usually sweet and playful, full of smiles and joy. She apparantly remains that way throughout the day at school, and will usually (but not always) extend her time of pleasantness to include her time with her parents at night. Beware not giving the girl her way, however, because the word ornary sometimes crosses our minds.
The Children's Museum is a guaranteed good time. We are grateful the Tot Spot has reopened, new and improved!
Just two years old, and already double tasking. What next?
(But also - just two years old, and already reading. Not too shabby.) (Thank you, Joyce and Danny, for letting us borrow your "Neigh")
