Mira's vocabulary, both verbal and signed, grows daily. Requests for "be-bi? be-bi?" are usually satisfied with yet another viewing of Baby Signing Times. She probably knows every sign on these videos, and she knows how to use her signing to supplement her verbal communication when her parents are a little slower at understanding her.
Mira is quite the authoritarian when it comes to playtime; she will instruct you on exactly who is invited to be play/dance/sing with her, in what position/manner/style you are to do so, and when your participation is no longer welcome. She knows what she wants, and she will make sure you do, too. On introduction to large groups, however, she is quite stoic and reluctant, easing slowly into these initially uncomfortable situations. We just may have a little introvert on our hands.
Addendum: The amount of pictures included in this post is directly proportional to the quantity of time an awake Mira has spent with an awake Mama. We are all looking forward to Mama finishing her last TCH month on call.
