Hurricane Ike did prevent us from celebrating Dan's birthday according to our original plans, but celebrate we did. Who needs electricity, phone lines, 
or water when you can bar-b-que with friends? Ike was not only kind enough to thaw our meat and to encourage us to enjoy the Houston air, but also considerate enough to bring a birthday present for Dan assisting in the destruction of his "nemesis." Happy Birthday, Dan.
