With Sandi working such erratic hours this month, Mira and Dan haven't been as quick to rush out of the house in the morning to get to school and work. Lately, Mira has been asking for her backpack and leading us to the door. It's amazing how a preverbal child can so clearly tell us that "it's time to go, people!"
Mr. Rogers teaches us that it's great to have good neighbors, especially ones just like you, or even better, like Mira! Sandi left her night shift an hour early today and was able to get home in time to be a part of Mira and Dan's early morning routines. Dan reads his papers somehow watching Mira out of the corner of his eye, and Mira hums happily while eating her Cheerios. What a great start to the day!
