Mira spent an entire week of fun with Nana as Sandi and Dan flew to San Diego and some R&R. It was our first time spending an extended period of time together since Mira was born. We found that we had a lot to talk about and that we enjoy each others' company very much. Imagine that!
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Mira and Nana banged blocks together and threw rings around. They sang and danced, rolled and scooted, and shared their deepest darkest secrets, as girlfriends do. It doesn't get much better than that!
Sandi and Dan eventually made their way back to Houston after plenty of good food and walks around the city. To end the week, we all headed to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. Between naps, Mira seemed to enjoy the bull riding and calf scramble, but she said she would enjoy it even more if she only she could share her cinammon bun with her aunts and uncles. L'shanah haba'ah b'Houston! P.S. No, there is no other new tooth after all, we just wanting to keep Nana reading until this point to let her know.
