Mira Roberta: 2 Months and Kicking
On the occasion of Mira's 2 month birthday, I thought we'd answer the question all her fans are dying to know - just what is Mira up to these days? As a two-month-old, Mira loves to focus
on moving objects, especially those with lights or bright colors. She still loves the traditional ceiling fan, but now her mobile really captures her attention. The toys you have been so wonderful to provide for her, such as her rocking chair with the dancing animals (Jason and Theresa!) or lights flashing to music (Paula and Mike!) and her tummy-time mat (Aunt Mandy and Uncle Mitch!) are really coming in handy. We are especially thankful for these new-found skills at night, when Mira cheers on the twirling animals as she falls asleep in her crib - between 11 and midnight with little fuss, every night this week!
Clicking on the picture at right may just bring you to a video of such a performance. Her curiosity is also evident as she has started to discover her fingers only halfway by accident. Her smiles, which she has been sharing with us since day one, are revealing themselves more frequently, and with more purpose (besides, she has an entire pediatrics program checking for her "social smile").
