Mira had a surprise waiting for her father when he went to get her this morning. Next to her in her crib was an "I love Daddy" picture frame with a picture of Mira and Dan doing their favorite thing together - dancing. We then went to brunch together and took Dan shopping at the Galleria.Dan thought he had already received his Father's Day present (seen in picture). Every Shabbat since she was born, we have used this lithograph to bless Mira. The text in the middle reads:
ישמך אלקים כשרה רבקה רחל ולאה
יברכך ה׳ וישמרך
יאר ה׳ פניו אליך ויחנך
ישא ה׳ פניו אליך וישם לך שלום
May God make you as Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Leah.
May God bless you and protect you.
May God’s presence shine for you and be favorable to you.
May God’s presence turn toward you and give you peace.
